Two jets or three?
Two opposed jets read diameter at every angle. Centerless-ground parts are often slightly three-lobed, and their diameter measures the same in every direction, so two jets can't see it. Three jets 120° apart pick up the lobing and read average diameter. Sizes .061″ to .183″ are made as three-jet carbide rings only.
Accessories
Base stands hold the ring upright on the bench, vee guide chutes feed long parts straight through, and guide pins steady short parts. Each is fitted at the factory, so order it with the ring. Set rings with master setting discs.
Dual Master or Single Master?
Dual Master tooling is set with two masters, one at each end of the tolerance, and works with any two-master readout. Single Master tooling is set on one master at nominal and is matched to a single-master readout, such as the Air Gage Pro M5-L or M5-H that replaces Dimensionair readouts. Questions
Ring or snap gage?
Use a ring when the part can pass through it. Use an air snap gage when the shaft stays on the grinder or between centers, or is too long to slide through a ring.
What do I need to get a price?

Is a hose included?
Dual Master rings come with a 4 ft (1.22 m) hose. Single Master rings take a separate hose assembly matched to your readout.
