The M-Bus master module for automation. It connects a PLC directly to Metro M-Bus measuring modules (air gage, inductive/LVDT probe, encoder, Digimatic instrument and force modules) and handles up to 125 measurement inputs. Readings and system status go straight into the PLC, with no gateway or PC software in between.

  • Fieldbus versions: EtherNet/IP (FMB-PLC-IP), PROFINET (FMB-PLC-PN) or EtherCAT (FMB-PLC-EC)
  • Built-in web server: view the connected modules and their setup, calibrate MB-AG air gage modules and run diagnostics from any PC or tablet browser, with no software to install
  • Scales from a single gaging station to a multi-dimension bench by adding modules
  • DIN-rail aluminum housing, like the other M-Bus modules
